How would you describe your current role and the biggest challenges you face?

I am leading 40+ team members consists of Brand Management, Marketing communications, Sales for E-commerce, creative channel and consumer insights.
My biggest challenge is to harmonizing team and create processes that enables team to work together to achieve goals.

What is a common misconception about the work you do?

It must be hard being a female leader. But actually if you had a great support system, it's a very exciting job!

How did you get started in your marketing career?

I joined L'Oreal Brandstorm competition when I was in college and won the competition. Post that, I have asked to join L'Oreal as and intern. And the rest, I have been working as Marketer for 15 years and with 2.5 years experience as an expat in Bangkok, Thailand.

Describe the most impactful marketing campaign/project you've personally worked on.

Garnier Men, Indonesia- I am the one who launched Garnier Men in Indonesia and achieved no.1 in share within 10 months.
ABC Soy Sauce, Indonesia- Real Husbands Cook Campaign, it talks about gender equality at home. To gain awareness that husband should helps his wife in the kitchen. Through this campaign, received several marketing awards.
Heinz Oyster Sauce, Thailand - Led the launch of Heinz Oyster Sauce in Bangkok, Thailand. The idea is to localize Heinz i through #1 cooking condiments in Thailand.
Lemonilo Chimi and Brownies Crispy, Indonesia - Consistently grow Chimi  and Brownies Crispy, from IDR <500 mio per month to IDR >30 bn per month
Lemonilo Noodle, USA - Launched Lemonilo Noodle with vegan version in Costco, LA Metro Area

What is one marketing trend or change you're not convinced will work for SEA tech brands?

I think as Marketer, we need always up to trends and changes. We need to be constantly evolve our skills.

What is one marketing trend or change that you hope to see more of at SEA tech brands? And, why?

To see what kind of growth engine that will work in the future. As marketer, we need to adapt on growth engine that will drive the business.

What is your favourite marketing resource that you would recommend to this community? And, why?

Expertise is my favorite, it's something that we gain by experience, learn and unlearn. It's what makes one marketer is different with the other.

Lastly, where are you based, and where would you take friends visiting your city for the first time?

Based in Jakarta. I will take my friend to try Indonesian cuisine!
