Connecting qualified candidates with job opportunities while also ensuring a good fit between candidates and the organization.
What is a common misconception about the work you do?
Recruiter decide everything in the hiring process. The truth is we discuss with other stakeholders to decide.
How did you get started in your HR career?
I started my career as a recruiter intern, where I learn all about recruitment and HR fields. I was falling in love ever since.
Describe the most impactful HR project you've personally worked on.
I lead the TRIP (Tech Rookie Internship Program) project, a massive intern hiring in the company. I think it was the first time we create something like this.TRIP was meant to be a platform for the company to introduce our working environment to students, to increase our employer branding. It also serve as talent pipeline, so we can always have potential talent if we need to fulfill early stage position.For me, TRIP also become a part of my journey to become a more mature recruiter and project leader.
What is one HR/future of work trend or change you're not convinced will work for SEA startups?
While remote work has become widespread globally, certain industries and cultural norms in Southeast Asia may require a physical presence. Additionally, issues related to internet infrastructure, varying levels of digital literacy, and the importance of face-to-face communication in certain contexts could impact the widespread adoption of remote work.
What is one HR/future of work trend or change that you hope to see more of at SEA startups?
Resilience and Crisis Preparedness. Lessons learned from the pandemic are prompting organizations to focus on resilience and crisis preparedness. This involves building agile systems that can adapt to unforeseen challenges.

I am based in Jakarta, and if my friends visiting my city for the first time, I would bring them to use Jakarta Public Transportation!
