Our recent community poll paved the way for seachange circle about compensation, benefits and rewards when it comes to startups. We took a step back to think: What company impact are we really aiming for when it comes to C&B initiatives?
Here are some of our notes:
🌱 Initiatives to engage and retain younger talent is still a top priority for SEA startups who usually have a younger workforce. We explored flexible work arrangements, and how accelerated promotion programs can be effective in motivating employees who are looking to grow faster.
📦 C&B is not a one-size-fits-all. Recognizing individual needs, aligning incentives to diverse roles and levels, and valuing the unique contributions of each team member through personalised and tailored C&B arrangements are strategic moves for retention.
🪜 Building an employer brand matters in startups. Prioritising factors like comprehensive health insurance and featuring employee spotlights not only boosts morale but also demonstrates to potential candidates and dedication. Happy employees are not just assets; they can amplify the company's culture.
