How can we link this framework to performance management and decision-making? 📝
Last week, we invited Dr. Chintan (Head of HR at Nium) to explore the topic of competency frameworks and how we go about building that in a way that suits our organisation's culture. Here’s a summary of what we unpacked:
- Competencies vary based on how an organisation wants to utilise somebody's capacity. This makes competencies context-specific: What's needed for effective job performance and an individual's ability to perform in a specific role
- Translate competencies into specific behaviours, which can be used in various work processes. And, that becomes objective for everyone.
- In a startup environment where things can change quickly, the benchmark for roles should remain constant despite our changing needs. This can help in filling the gap and capacity moving forward.
Thank you for your participation and contributions!
