As Populix grew from a 40-person team in 2020 to over 100 members today, so did its leadership team. With a rising client base and increasing demands for sophisticated insights, Populix recognized that strengthening leadership skills was essential to sustaining growth and success.

While many of the leaders had advanced through hands-on experience, Populix saw the value in complementing their practical expertise with formal leadership training.

With leaders primarily promoted based on their expertise in research, the company was eager to complement this practical knowledge with formal leadership training that would better support their teams and enable them to better support their teams in a rapidly changing market.

The diversity of the training participants, with managers from across Southeast Asia including the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, also proved invaluable. The exposure to different cultural contexts expanded Populix’s leadership team’s toolkit, giving them fresh insights into managing teams in a variety of environments.

Throughout the training program, learners had the opportunity to engage directly with expert coaches, who provided immediate, real-time feedback. Managers walked away with tools they could immediately implement to improve their leadership approach and better support their teams.

Cultivating Stronger Leadership for Sustainable Growth

The impact was immediate. Managers reported improvements in delegation, communication, and decision-making. Following the Management Essentials program, there was a 16% increase in the learners' average confidence level across all three competencies, based on measurements taken before and after the program. These enhancements allowed the leadership team to better support their expanding teams, keeping pace with the increasing demands from clients.

Encouraged by the success of the program, Populix plans to extend the training to middle management, ensuring leadership development continues to scale as the company grows.
